Don’t miss your chance to attend Wilmington’s hippest, most progressive (and through the end of the year, FREE) learning events, where each Thursday The coIN Loft will focus on topics that are affecting you NOW in business.
During these events we will conduct business or idea slams where you, the attendee, get to pitch yourself, your business or idea to the group. This will also be your chance to network with other businesses, startups, job searchers, entrepreneurs and meet face-to-face with experts from a wide variety of businesses in an intimate setting.

Our speaker this week, Chris Barton will discuss his transition from leaving Corporate America to successfully launching his own venture, Barton Career Advisors.
Chris Barton, President of outplacement and career coaching firm Barton Career Advisors, LLC, is a former Fortune 100 financial services Senior Vice President and has more than 15 years of experience working with professionals of all levels at some of the nation's top companies including credit card giant MBNA America and Citizen's Financial Group. Most recently Chris transitioned from his role as Chief Administrative Officer of a multi-region proprietary education company, to start Barton Career Advisors. Chris is a highly sought career transition expert, HR consultant and speaker. His hallmark focus on people development and helping other people get what they want has defined his own career success. Chris received his MBA and BS from the Lerner College of Business at the University of Delaware and holds the prestigious Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR) designation from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
